We are Grateful, Thankful, Blessed... + Fox Box Printable

Confession:  I  love Thanksgiving!  Little things like cooking with Dennis - and planning it so that we can go to lunch together on Wednesday.  The doorbell ringing - knowing that it's Lauren and Paul.  The best turkey I ever ate and my favorite pecan pie.

Even the "Kid's Table" is a favorite.  I was at the kid's table for years - even after I got married.  We've had a Kid's Table a couple of times when Dennis' family came - then we had enough kids!  I always had a treat at each kid's place.

This Fox Box is perfect for the kid's table or just as a treat for a special someone.  So easy to do:  print, cut, score, fold, glue.  That fox is adorable in his pilgrim hat!   You can download the Fox Box below.

I just love this stamp set and the saying "I Love You A Bushel and a Peck."  This is a remake from a treat box I put together last year.

Adorable little mouse!

Plaid, on top of plaid, on top of plaid?  You bet!

Grateful, thankful, blessed...that's us this year, especially with Louisa (my sweet baby granddaughter)!

Oh, my gosh!  I can't believe it's time for Visions of Sugarplums already.  Mark your calendar.  Fabulous prizes and always wonderful Christmas inspiration!   See you here December 4th for the fun...

Create a Thanksgiving Keepsake

Don't you love it when you give a friend a little something you've made and she says that she'll keep it forever?  Handmade does equal Joy (squared).  You get the joy of creating and giving and the recipient gets the joy of receiving a handmade goodie that is not only adorable, but YOU made it just for her.   Joy all around, right?  People tend to keep handmade items they receive, so it's joy for years to come.

This little cutie is all ready to give joy to you and someone else.  Download Pilgrim Girl below.   I made five of the gable treat boxes for my friend, Margaret, to give to her friends to show just how thankful she is for them.

My mom and Margaret also created keepsakes for Louisa.  They both made blankets and Mom also made the darling crocheted hat.

Here is the farmer card I promised awhile back.  (You can see that post here.)  He's part of an adorable stamp set that is available in my etsy shop.  He did work perfectly with the stitched truck from PTI and he was a lot of fun to color.  Very happy with how it turned out!

You might remember these fun strip paper pumpkins from last year.  You can see just how easy they are to make in THIS post.  I used them for my table place card holders on our Thanksgiving table last year.
