I was walking by the dollar bins at Michaels - you don't really believe that do you? I should own up and say I was digging through the dollar bins at Michaels and these cute Mary Engelbreit cupcake wrappers caught my eye. I also have to confess I brought them home and promptly forgot all about them. Later, I also brought home these oh, so sweet mini Lindt chocolate bunnies. I mean, how could I not? That cute, little tasty bunny needed a cute little basket, right? That's when the cupcake liners came to mind.
These are soooo easy to make. Place a circle of cardstock or chipboard in the bottom of the cupcake liner to give some support. Hot glue a piece of chenille stem to form a handle. Pink a strip of crepe paper, add a line of glue around the top of the cupcake liner, and gather up the crepe paper gluing it in as you go. Add easter grass and that oh, so sweet honey bunny. Easy... I think everyone needs one!
Here are a couple more Easter projects I haven't shared yet:
Love these laser cut frames (can't pass them up at Michaels either).
And this card with a sweet image from Iralamija shop.
Have a wonderful Easter and thank you for stopping by!
Im making some bitty baskets up in the morning. I'll be sure to post some pics!
