Be Mine, Valentine

Did you take a shoebox to school when you were little to decorate as a Valentine mailbox?  I can remember how excited we all were and how fun it was to decorate the boxes with heart doilies and red construction paper.

This little couple reminds me of the valentines from when I was really little.

If you're interested in vintage, you might also be interested in vintage recipes.  At The Past On A Plate, Lauren takes her readers on a culinary time travel.  Many of you got to know Lauren (my daughter)  through Visions of Sugarplums.  Her new project, 1920s Menu Challenge is coming up in March.  She's offering an amazing sourcebook that is available now in ebook form.  It contains 70 recipes and is also pretty to look at!  Her new goodies, like mugs, t-shirts, aprons, pins, magnets,etc... are available at Cafe Press.  You might like to take a look!

So glad you stopped by - have a wonderful week!
