What is it about pinwheels? Seriously, what is it? Everytime I see one, I smile. Regina has a new pinwheel cut file available at The Cutting Cafe. And this is so funny, I thought I had an original idea with a pinwheel wreath...uh, no...I found several out there in blogland. Great minds think alike? Or maybe, it's just a love of pinwheels...
How about these papers?
They are from the new French General collection. Rich reds and blues - so pretty!
The pinwheel template made this super easy to put together. By the way, the pinwheel set comes with straight and scalloped pinwheels and sentiments, too! I cut twelve pinwheels and slid the opposite corners onto a brad. I used a 12" styrofoam wreath.
I used straight pins to place the pinwheels and hot glued buttons into place. One thing I'm going to do is wrap the styrofoam with a pretty blue or red ribbon. Regina will be adding the DT projects to The Cutting Cafe blog on Wednesday night. I'm sure there will be lots of pinwheels to make me smile!
