I began by wrapping the crepe paper all the way around and then starting placing "dogwood blooms" all the way around the wreath. I was only about a fourth of the way through when Dennis came in and said, "Peach?" I told him to just wait and see!
The little primitive house was cut with my Cricut and I added a bottlebrush tree. I thought it still needed a little something, so I added a glittery star and some pretty acqua seam binding ribbon.
I'm not so happy with these photos, but hopefully you can see it okay! I am happy with the way the wreath turned out...especially after Dennis questioned the color choice!

You've brought back a flood of memories. We did this for a fund raiser in school.Absolutely stunning. I love your choice of colors.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful wreath, loving the vintage like colors!!

ReplyDeleteYes, you are right Lori! We did make such wreaths at school! Brings back sweet memories :-) Love the wreath you made just now, gorgeous colour combo! Ira

ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful...
ReplyDeleteok, see, if you had said to me beforehand, "i'm going to make a PEACH xmas wreath" i think i'd've been a bit dennissy, too...b/c CLEARLY we both lack your amazing VISION! (SERIOUSLY--it's BRILLIANT; and *yes* the fullness of the 3-D flowers is what makes it by far the best one of these around...it's a PROPER wreath!!!) ♥♥♥
