The challenge this week by Cheryl at City Crafter is any holiday, any project. My contribution this week is a Thanksgiving Flower Pail.
Although the little girl is walking with a turkey, I decided to make the banner say FALL. I figure that way it's a little more versatile and I can put it out sooner. I used the banner from The Cutting Cafe. I added the letters using Papertrey Ink stamps and the orange swirlies are the end of a PTI frame stamp. I pinked some orange polka dot paper to put around the banner.
I punched out a couple of leaves to use at the ends of the banner and colored them with Copics.
I came across these little pails at Michaels months ago and bought them when they were on sale. I had no idea what I was going to do with them, I just thought they were cute. Do you do that? Just buy on a whim, thinking that sooner or later you'll use it?
Just about everything in the pail is from Michaels, except for the vintage images. The pumpkin seed packet is from Majik Designs. Thanks for stopping by! Hope your weekend has been fabulous.
Gorgeous and so lovely to look at...
