I'm in the middle of Scott Turow's new book Innocent. I love to read and often come home at lunch to read while I eat. I tore myself away to post my new card for The Cutting Cafe.
I love this Birthday frame, love the shape and the way the words are different fonts and run all different directions. I changed the color of the words to pink and then printed Happy Birthday in teal. I really like how it looks on kraft cardstock.
The birthday circle sentiment was cut with my Spellbinder dies and then I just placed it on the card to circle the ribbon. The darling little girl was colored with Copics and then aged a little with Ranger Vintage Photo Distress Ink. The background paper is from My Mind's Eye. You can find the Birthday Frame and the Birthday Fun Set at The Cutting Cafe. Does anyone know what company made this little girl stamp?
I took her out of her packaging some time ago and have totally forgotten where I got her! The original stamp is grey rubber and she's actually holding a set of three balloons.
Edited: I found her! She's called Izzie has balloons and she's from Stampingbella.com!
Several people have emailed about the follower button to the right. If you become a follower, it makes it easier to know when I've updated my blog. Here's what I understand (I'm sure there's way more to know): If you have a blog on blogger, all the blogs you follow will come up on your dashboard so you can easily see who has posted since you checked last. It you don't have a blog, you can log in to www.google.com/reader and your list of blogs will come up for you to check. It saves time because you don't have to go to each blog to see if there's a new post. My friend Mika shared with me that if you have an i-phone you can get this cool app: AppBoxPro. It does all kinds of cool stuff, but on its second page there is a button for google reader. The other reason to become a follower, is just to let me know who you are and that you're out there checking out my creations! If you are more savvy than me with this follower stuff, leave a comment to help us out. Thanks!
