Hi, everybody! I'm posting a card that's my interpretation of the sketch over at 2Sketches4You this week.
The image is the front of a Portugese postcard. Behind the cute kids, you can see its actual backside (the Portugal part is covered).
Instead of dots, I did a zigzag stitch on my sewing machine.
Look at this fabulous vintage button...I hit the jackpot yesterday!
I bought at least 1000 (maybe more) vintage buttons at a local antique store for a REALLY great price! The papers on this card are old (but still terrific) K&CO. Hope you're having a great Saturday!
This is wonderful.. I just love that image.. I just love going to antique stores, It is amazing what some people want to sell buttons for.. But that is were I love to buy buttons and lace! It sounds like you got a good deal! Hope you have a great weekend!
