Hi! Hope you had a wonderful Easter. This darling little bunny box was a gift from Dennis. Isn't it cute? We think it may be from the 1930's, based on its crackle glaze and the black and gold. It has no marks at all, so we're just guessing.
The postcard is postmarked April 1909 from a mother in Massachusetts to a son in New Hampshire. She talks about him making maple sugar and that she bought Easter cards a little late. Dennis found both of these at a local antique store. Don't you think this is a darling Easter gift?
The bunny is cute. Not sure about the date, either, but the box does look a bit art deco. I hate it when ceramics aren't marked because I like to get online and research the pieces I buy.
