Another purse, sweet card, and a cute birdie
I finished another purse! It's the same fabric as the other, but blue instead of green. I like it, but I hate the pattern instructions! I had to take it apart four times, because the instructions were out of order or just plain wrong! Now that I know what needs to be done, however, I can make one much quicker.

Look Who's Living in Our Backyard (and a couple of cards, too)
Isn't he the cutest thing? We first saw a pair of baby racoons about 2 months ago. They were running up and down our driveway around dusk. I worried about them, because I assumed something must have happened to the mom. We didn't see them for awhile and then Dennis saw one of them in late June. Then a couple of weeks ago we saw one in one of our backyard trees. This morning, around 11:00, there was one again!
It's living in a "pretty sort-of wilderness" in our backyard. I'm assuming there is only one, we haven't seen two at once. I've seen racoons in our yard before, but as far as I know, we've never had one live here before!

Here's a birthday card I did for my mom to give to a guy at her work. The papers are Rusty Pickle.
And this is a card I did for a friend to give to her granddaughter for her birthday.
The stamp is from the Clearly Constructed Art Doll Parts line.

Cute Purse!
I started and finished this purse yesterday! I love the fabric, It's from Moda.
One of the cool things about it, is that it is easy to change the purse to something different by just slipping the purse off the handles. The handles and pattern are from Ellen Medlock. It's called the Interchangeable Bag.

Amy Butler and a darling vintage girl
Amy Butler, again.
Love these cute die cuts. Her paper designs are fun, too. I just love this image of the little girl and a dove.
The image is from The Graphics Fairy.

birds and butterflies
I love vintage images. This little bird is from Crafty Secrets
and the butterfly image is unknown. I can't remember!
I recommend the Graphics Fairy for awesome vintage images. She puts up a new image almost every day and the images are free to download. It's a great deal!

Baby Hodge-Podge
I just finished a baby hodge-podge book for a friend's shower next week.
I got this cute elephant sizzix die cut and had to use it. So, the book kind of ended up with an elephant theme.
The baby will have a big sister and brother, so I made pages where they could be included.
I love this darling stamp.
I think it's from Lucy and Friends. Apparently not available in the U.S. I'm not even sure where I saw it, but I started looking for it and could only find it at a store called Sir Stamp-A-Lot in England. Of course, what I didn't think about is how weak the dollar is and I had to pay double for it and the shipping was double, too! Oh, well... it is cute!

Still thinking "Holidays"
You can see that I am working on holiday things. I love the vintage image on the Christmas tag. I found her in a box of things. Lucky find! She's so pretty. She's printed on old ledger paper and the tag is made from an old manilla folder.
Here is a gatefold card for Halloween using Martha Stewart and 7 Gypsies paper. I made up the verse inside, because I couldn't find one that I thought fit well enough!

Amy Butler Card
While I was looking through my stash, I came across a little box of Amy Butler diecuts. I thought this little girl was so cute. I also had purchased the Amy Butler paper pad, so I went through the papers until I found this one. I love gatefold cards, so that's what I went with. Oh,happy lazy days of summer when I have time to relax and make fun things!
